Mollow: Low-Carbon Trips Made Easy

Mollow is the first French platform fully dedicated to train-based travel. It combines practical tools, verified information, and community-generated content to help travellers plan low-carbon trips without relying on planes or cars. The platform provides detailed itineraries, destination guides, multimodal travel tips (train + bike, train + public transport), news about sustainable tourism, and a steady flow of shared recommendations from an active community.

The initiative emerged after the founders travelled extensively across Europe by train. They experienced the advantages of rail travel, but also the lack of centralised resources to inspire and support those wanting to reduce their emissions. Mollow was built to fill this gap by bringing together technical rigour, practical guidance, and accessible communication—making low-carbon travel easier to understand and to adopt.

Today, Mollow operates as both a media platform and a visibility partner for destinations, outdoor organisations, and tourism actors engaged in ecological transition. It tests and highlights accessible outdoor experiences (cycling, hiking, nature-based trips), produces editorial content, and collaborates with territories to promote sustainable mobility solutions.

With over 150,000 followers, 100,000 monthly users, and more than 30 professional partners, Mollow contributes to shifting public perceptions of mobility while offering concrete tools that help travellers move from intention to action. Its work supports the development of more sustainable travel habits and strengthens the visibility of territories investing in low-carbon tourism
