EuroVelo: the European green highways

EuroVelo is a network of long-distance cycling routes that connects the entire European continent. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, EuroVelo offers an incredible opportunity to explore Europe on two wheels, embracing a lifestyle of sustainability and adventure.

The network includes 17 routes spanning over 90,000 km, designed to link major cities, cultural landmarks, and breathtaking natural landscapes. Routes are categorized into three types:

North-South Itineraries:
EV 1: Atlantic Coast Route (Sagres - North Cape)
EV 3: Pilgrims Route (Trondheim - Santiago de Compostela)
EV 5: Via Romea Francigena (London - Brindisi)
EV 7: Sun Route (North Cape - Malta)
EV 9: Baltic-Adriatic Route (Gdansk - Pula)
EV 11: East Europe Route (North Cape - Athens)
EV 13: Iron Curtain Trail (Kirkenes - Tsarevo)
EV 15: Rhine Route (Andermatt - Rotterdam)
EV 17: Rhone Route (Andermatt - Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône)
EV 19: Meuse Cycle Route (Langres - Hoek van Holland)

East-West Itineraries:
EV 2: Capitals Route (Galway - Moscow)
EV 4: Central Europe Route (Roscoff - Odessa)
EV 6: Atlantic to Black Sea (Nantes - Constanța)
EV 8: Mediterranean Route (Tarifa - Athens)
EV 14: Waters of Central Europe (Zell am See - Velence - Debrecen; under construction)

Circular Routes:
EV 10: Baltic Sea Circuit
EV 12: North Sea Cycle Route
A rich website complements the EuroVelo experience with useful contents, featuring a route planner and free downloadable tracks, called daily sections (approximately 50 km each), that are compatible with major cycling navigation apps, making it easier than ever to plan and navigate your ride.
